Meet Jordan Royt, Esq..

Jordan A. Royt is an Associate Attorney at Fedelaw, where she advocates for federal employees navigating complex administrative proceedings. She conducts client consultations and represents clients before administrative bodies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEO) and the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). Jordan approaches each matter with diligence, thoughtful analysis, and a deep commitment to client-centered advocacy.

Jordan’s foundation in administrative and human rights law was shaped through her work with the Disability Inclusion Advocacy Law Clinic in Fort Lauderdale, where she handled disability and discrimination matters under federal law and before the Florida Commission on Human Relations. In that role, she conducted extensive legal research, drafted complaints and motions, prepared demand letters, and assisted in mediation, discovery, and deposition preparation. She worked closely with low-income individuals and families facing housing discrimination, employment discrimination, and guardianship-related matters, gaining firsthand experience advocating for vulnerable populations navigating complex legal systems.

Prior to law school, Jordan worked as a Grant Writer for nonprofit organizations, where she developed strong analytical and persuasive writing skills while preparing funding applications and compliance materials. This experience strengthened her ability to craft clear, compelling written arguments—an asset she brings to every client matter.

Jordan earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List multiple semesters and received a CALI Award in Law, Finance and Markets. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University, where she served as an editor for the McGill Journal of Political Studies and as a peer reviewer for the FLUX International Relations Review.

Jordan is passionate about using her research, writing, and advocacy skills to assist federal employees who may not otherwise have the resources or knowledge to advocate for themselves. She understands that while legal disputes are part of her daily work, for her clients they may represent one of the most significant challenges of their lives. Her goal is to ensure that every client feels heard, supported, and confidently guided throughout the entire process.
