Meet Sarah Spitalnick, Esq..

Sarah Spitalnick is an Associate at The Law Office of Justin Schnitzer, where she represents federal employees in discrimination matters, including Reasonable Accommodation Process, Internal Agency Grievance Process, EEO/EEOC claims, and MSPB appeals, with a particular focus on EEO/EEOC claims. She independently and co-manages cases from initial filings through discovery, motions, hearings, trials, and appeals, demonstrating her comprehensive approach to client representation.

Ms. Spitalnick earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from York College of Pennsylvania, which she received in May 2019.

Prior to her joining The Law Office of Justin Schnitzer, she owns her own solo practice and Ms. Spitalnick served as an Associate at The Law Office of Jonathan Gross, where she handled employment law, large-claim torts, breach of contract, First Amendment, and family law cases in both transactional and trial litigation, including appellate work.

Ms. Spitalnick’s commitment to public service is demonstrated through her work as a Student Attorney at the Veterans Advocacy Clinic at the University of Baltimore, where she represented veterans in disability claims, discharge upgrades, and appeals before the Board of Veterans Appeals, Federal Circuit Courts, and the VA.

Ms. Spitalnick has had a report on Veteran’s Prison Pod’s published in 2023, in conjuncture with her peers.

She is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland (November 2023) and the Federal District Court of Maryland (October 2024)

Known for building strong client relationships, Ms. Spitalnick has earned multiple referrals due to her excellent interpersonal skills and client-centered advocacy. She maintains a priority-driven approach, ensuring timely and effective case management while collaborating with attorneys locally and nationally to deliver client-focused results. More personally, I also love spending time with my dogs and at the beach whenever I can. If I’m not working there is a good chance I am hiking with my dogs.
